Labor Day Drink Ideas!
Labor Day is your last chance to enjoy summer before the Fall season kicks in. Here are some great drink recipes to enjoy during your labor day festivities!
Pina Colada Sangria:
1 – 750mL Bottle of Sauvignon Blanc
2 Cups of Pineapple Juice
1 Cup of Seltzer Water (or Try White Claw Pure for an extra Kick)
1 Cup Chopped Pineapple
½ Cup Coconut Rum
¼ Cup of Maraschino Cherries
In a pitcher combine white wine, pineapple juice, seltzer, pineapple, coconut rum, and maraschino cherries. Refrigerate until chilled. Garnish with Pineapple and Serve!
Pineapple Mango Seltzer Cocktail
A couple Mint Leaves
2oz of Rum
½ Cup of Pineapple Juice
Vive Mango Seltzer Water
Muddle a few mint leaves in a cocktail shaker; add 2oz of Rum and 1/2 cup of pineapple juice. Add ice and shake until combined. Pour into glass and top with Mango Vive Hard Seltzer. Enjoy!

Anheuser-Busch Acquires Ohio Brewery, Platform Beer Co.
Global beer giant, Anheuser-Busch, has acquired another regional craft brewery to add to its growing lineup of craft brands. It was announced on August 7 th that they acquired Platform Beer Co. out of Cleveland Ohio. Platform has been a rapidly growing brewery over the past couple years and has increased production from 6,500 barrels to 20,000 barrels in 2017. Platform joins other breweries such as Goose Island, Devils Backbone, Elysian Brewing Company, and Wicked Weed as brands that AB has recently acquired.
Buffalo Trace releases Elmer T Lee Commemorative Bourbon
In honor of their late Master Distiller, Elmer T Lee, Buffalo Trace has announced a 100-Proof Bourbon that be released on what would have been Elmer’s 100 th birthday. This extremely limited release will be a the same age and mash bill as standard Elmer T Lee but will be bottled at 100 proof. Suggested retail on the bottle will be $100 and will be available later this month.
Natural Light Enters Seltzer Category
Natural Light is the latest Beer to jump into the red hot seltzer category with 2 new seltzer flavors set to be released in late August. There will be two flavors on the initial launch, Catalina Lime Mixer and Aloha Beaches. In attempt to differentiate from other seltzers in the category, Natural Light Seltzers will boast a higher alcohol content, 6%, and will be available in 25oz Cans, 12pk cans and 24pk cans. The Seltzers will also be at a cheaper price point than a majority of the other brands.
