At Maggy Hawk, we take inspiration from the beauty of our Anderson Valley estate vineyards while continuing to seek out cool-climate sites. We focus on the purity of the grape, and the natural elegance found within. The northern half of Anderson Valley, The Deep End, is typically shrouded in a thick fog that rolls in from the nearby Mendocino coastline. Here, our Maggy Hawk Vineyard, and Edmeades Vineyard are tucked away among the valley’s rolling hills, surrounded by redwoods. The diversity of our vineyards gives our winemaking team a wealth of characteristics to layer into the Maggie Hawk wines. Each has its own style and story to tell. Together, they offer a unique view of this remote region.

A unique combination of aromatics: white peach, jasmine, Meyer lemon, rose petal, blood orange, and wet stone. An entirely original and truly beautiful sensory experience. Delicate and silky, with medium weight and acidity, this unique wine is plush. Spice and fruit aromas lead with chamomile, tarragon, apricot, pear, and white raspberry, while on the palate the acidity brings a lengthy, smooth finish.

A mountain sunbeam wrapped in satin. This bright Chardonnay shows focused citrus and tropical fruit flavors, lots of minerality and a clean, sleek texture. It offers aromas of roasted sunflower seeds, sea salt caramel, chamomile, and white pepper. The palate bursts with bright acidity and runs all the way through an extended finish, with flavors of lemon preserves, cardamom, nutmeg, grapefruit, and citrus blossom along the way.

Expressive, silky, and refined. Jolie is an elegantly transparent Pinot Noir that opens with light-footed red fruit and rhubarb, then blooms into bright raspberry, strawberry, and floral notes. Bright acid on the palate lifts notes of cranberry, fresh cardamom spice and pine forest. Subtle tannins frame the wine and provide a delightfully long finish.

Wonderful breadth, depth, and personality in spades. High-toned red fruit, black fruit, violets, and blood orange aromas are grounded in savory bass notes and a solid backbone. Alfeet incorporated four distinct blocks from the vineyard and incorporates 60% whole cluster fermentation to craft a wine wide a variety of aromatics.
